Potty Trained!!

Our little boy is officially potty trained!! He has done great with it and we have been on 2 ice cream dates as rewards. Of course, food speaks to this boy, so an ice cream date is the ultimate reward for him! :) We were even in TN for a week, and he did great! We are just so proud of him and also excited that we will only have 1 in diapers at a time! David loves the fact that he is now a big boy and while he will always be my baby, I am seeing everyday what a BIG boy he is becoming. It is sometimes bittersweet!

We are doing well. Just busy with early "Spring Cleaning." Nesting will do that to you! :) I am now 25 weeks along and Baby K2 is growing quickly! By the way, this one is going to be named Daniel. David already loves to talk about Baby Daniel and he has lots of plans for him! The most important one to David is that Baby Daniel will sleep with him! Mr. David loves a snuggle buddy, hopefully Daniel will like to snuggle. We are beginning to imagine what life will be like with Baby Daniel and I know our family dynamics are about to change. We are excited about that change though! My pregnancy has been a smooth ride so far and we are thrilled that my dr's in Raleigh are confident in keeping me here, instead of sending me to the high risk group at Duke again. Praise the Lord! He has placed some wonderful, intelligent Doctor's in my path this pregnancy and we are so thankful! (In case you don't know what I am talking about, I have a rare platelet disorder that has some dr's stumped!)

Matt and I are both learning to rely more on God in 2008. As most of you know, I am a planner by nature and I love being in charge of details. God is making me humbly learn that HE IS IN CONTROL. I am truly living One Day at a Time right now and slowly turning over the details to God. He must be thrilled...it has only taken me 26 years to start learning HOW to do this! I have my days where I feel like I am starting at square one though! Thankfully, he is a patient and graceful God.
