Could he be any cuter?

I admit it, I am head over heels in love with Mr. Daniel. He is such a sweet, happy, content baby and I can't get over how much he makes my heart pound. And I was afraid I wouldn't love him as much as David!! It is an amazing thing how Mommy's hearts just continue to grow with each child. I already feel my heart is ready to bust and then my precious boys do something else to make me fall in love again. Daniel is such a gift from above and I am so thankful for his sweet spirit. He is truly an adaptable baby, seeing we are making so many changes right now. How could you not fall in love with that smile of his?

1st Day of Preschool!!!

And off he goes! I can't believe he is big enough for preschool. HE DID GREAT! We got out of the car and he announced he could walk in. I told him that he could and he quickly informed me that he intended to walk in ALONE. Wasn't going to happen. Besides the safety issue, Mommy NEEDED to walk in with him. Yes, I struggled more than he did on his 1st day! :) I was so proud of him, he was so brave. For a little boy who has been through SOOO many changes and also happens to be a Mommy's boy, he really impressed me. AND he had a great day! He will be going 3 days a week and really seems to love it so far! Isn't he just the cutest 3 year old preschooler you have ever seen? This Mommy thinks so!

God's Country

Yes, we have arrived. Although we were both raised in the mountains and enjoyed them immensely as children, we still forgot how very beautiful they are. We are so excited to be back in East TN where God continues to remind us of his beauty. These pictures were taken from Matt's parent's backyard. My parents also have a most beautiful view of the mountains. Everywhere you go, you have a beautiful view of the mountains. David is in awe. I am in awe. Thank you Lord, your beauty is abundant. I know it was abundant in NC as well, but thank you for my new appreciation of the mountains.

Good Ol' Rocky Top

We will be extra busy in the weeks ahead as we are moving back to TN!!! We are so excited and blessed that God is giving us this opportunity!! And just in time for football season! :) We will truly miss our friends and family in NC and will always cherish all the memories we have made. I must admit, it is bittersweet to leave our home too. First of all, it hasn't sold yet. (Please be in prayer for that.) Secondly, it is the place we have brought both of our babies home to. First baths were given here. First smiles were made here. ALL of David's "firsts" occured here. It holds many special memories for us. I know God has another home in mind for us and we are looking forward to making new memories there.

If I don't blog for a couple weeks, you will know why. In the meantime, I will be humming "Rocky Top" all the way HOME to TN!!

Picture Day

We took the boys to have pics made today and couldn't have been more pleased with them...and our pocketbook shows it! :) I truly believe pictures are priceless though and with the speed these boys are growing, pictures are needed for this Momma's heart! By the way, Daniel is 10 weeks old in the pictures. Growing much too fast!
