Our Easter was wonderful and we continue to celebrate the fact that Jesus is Alive!! This Easter was very special for us for several reasons. One, it was Daniel's first Easter. Two, we are back at our home church and in our hometown. And three, this was the first Easter that David "got it." We read the bible stories leading up to Easter and answered his questions as best as we could. And those of you who know David know that he is full of questions...hard questions. Matt had to work days, but amazingly enough, our 2 little roosters woke up BEFORE he left for work. So Matt was able to be there when they checked out their Easter baskets. We also had lunch for my parents and siblings here at our house, and Matt was able to drop in and scarf down some food before heading back to work. We had a Easter egg hunt as well. It was a wonderful Sunday and what makes it even better is that we can continue to celebrate Easter always!! Now that I am a parent, I am even more amazed at God's sacrifice of Jesus for MY sins. Thank you Precious Lord for your Son, Jesus Christ!
